Yesterday the legal counsels for the Ngātiwai Trust Board, the Crown and claimants participated in judicial conference with the Waitangi Tribunal.
The purpose of the conference was to discuss the statement of issues (i.e what are the matters to be heard in the hearings), the proposed hearings timetable, venue and other logistics.
The Waitangi Tribunal have proposed the 4th - 6th of October at Toll Stadium in Whangarei, this is subject to confirmation. Once confirmed we will panui this to you all.
