AGM: – The Trust Board AGM will be held on Saturday 17th December commencing 10am at the ARC Lounge, Toll Stadium.
Board Policies: – The Board policy regarding code of conduct was approved in principal by Trustees subject to Kaumātua review and feedback.
CEO Position: – It was confirmed by resolution that the Board enter into a process to advertise and select a permanent CEO.
Consolidated Financials: – NTB group financials to 30th September 2016 are reasonably aligned to budget.
Investments: – A halt has been placed on any further investments and capital expenditure pending further information regarding the Treaty Claims.
Kaipara Sands: – Hori Parata will be carrying out an investigation and review on the Kaipara Sands Extraction contract on behalf of NTB.
Trust Deed Review: – Recommendations from the Trust Deed Review Committee were received by the Board for review.
Trustee Elections: – Public notice of the Board’s triannual Trustee Election will commence on the 23rd November 2016 and end with an Election General Meeting on 8th February 2017.
Waitangi Tribunal (WAI262/Water Hearings): – Kaumātua, Hori Parata represented Ngātiwai at the WAI262 water hearings in Wellington and provided a brief back to the Board.
