Our Kaumatua me nga Kuia had a day to remember. Normally on a Thursday our Kaumatua meet at The Ngatiwai Education office for their weekly Waiata classes. But this week the Ngatiwai Education Team wanted to treat our kuia to something special. So with the support of Lisa and her staff at People Potential they pampered our kuia with a flash new hair style and make up to make them look tino ataahua. The Kuia loved it! They then went to the Thai Restaurant to have lunch together and thank Erica Wellington who retired recently as General Manager of Education for all her mahi over the years.
